Chianina

Chianina is one of the oldest and most prized Italian cattle breeds, originally from Val di Chiana, a region between Tuscany and Umbria, where the traditional Florentine steak is born. Chianina is raised mainly on pasture, taking advantage of the rich natural forage resources, integrated with cereals and legumes to ensure balanced growth. Chianina meat is lean, with a low fat content, but still soft and tasty thanks to the fine muscle fiber. Age: 16-24 months.
